The ruins of Tsantiin Ders


In 2019 , Archeologists have discovered stone construction used to make paper at the ruin of Tsantiin Ders, Orkhon sum of Selenge aimag of Mongolia. The ruins of the Tsantiin Ders are related to the Mongol Empire (13-14th century) . Thus, the Mongolian nomads have discovered findings of paper making technology belong 700 years ago which creates a new page in the Mongolian cultural history. They used to mulle straw by stone mill and made paper in this ancient city. Currently two paper mills have been discovered in Tsangiin Ders and the further research are still going on .
