The Immigration Agency of Mongolia has announced the launch of a new digital platform, isf.mn, to streamline visa application services. The platform is currently in a transitional phase as operations gradually shift from the existing eVisa.mn system.

During this interim period, foreign nationals temporarily residing in Mongolia for official or personal travel may continue to submit visa applications via evisa.mn section of the Immigration Agency’s main website, immigration.gov.mn. Once the migration is complete, evisa.mn will be decommissioned, and all visa-related services will be fully integrated into isf.mn.

Applicants – including foreign nationals, their sponsors, and business entities – can access the service by selecting the “Visa” menu on the platform. Inviting organizations or companies must authenticate using a digital signature issued by an authorized certification body, while foreign nationals may log in using a valid email address.

Following the submission and review of an application, approved applicants or their authorized representative will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code, which serves as a digital credential for verification and further processing.

How to Apply for a Mongolian Visa Using the New System

1. Visit the Official Platform

   
   

   Go to isf.mn (or temporarily evisa.mn via immigration.gov.mn** until the transition is complete).

2. Create an Account / Log In

   • Foreign nationals: Log in using a valid email address.

   • Inviting organizations or companies: Authenticate using a digital signature issued by an authorized certification body.

   Once logged in, navigate to the “Visa” section and choose the type of visa you wish to apply for (tourism, business, official travel, etc.).

4. Fill Out the Application Form

   
   

   Complete all required fields, including personal information, purpose of travel, and duration of stay. Ensure that all details match your passport.

   Applicants may need to upload:

   • Passport bio-page

   • Passport-style photo

   • Invitation letter (if applicable)

6. Pay the Visa Fee

   
   

   Submit the required payment through the platform’s secure payment gateway.

   After reviewing your details, apply for processing.

8. Receive Confirmation and QR Code
