“Nomadic Winter – Eagle Festival 2020” is set to take place in its 20th year and this is 14th time its taking place in Ulaanbaatar.
Due to the worldwide promotion of eagle hunting through the Eagle Festival, it was included in the World Heritage List in intangible heritage by a meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in November 2010. The Eagle Festival is now one of the most interesting holiday events in Mongolia for tourists, as last year's eagle festival was attended by over 20,000 people.
The “Eagle Festival” will be held at “Chinggis Khan’s Circle” complex on March 4th and 7th, to restore the tradition and customs of the Kazakh eagle hunting, to pass on to future generations, and to promote it internationally.
