Due to pandemic, last two years the Naadam ceremony was not publicly organized. Thus, this year the Deputy Prime Minister S. Amarsaikhan, the Chairman of the National Naadam Organizing Committee informed that The Naadam festival will be organized this year in 2022 in Mongolia.
The festival will be held on July 11 and 12 in nationwide as before. According to the government resolution, some provinces such as Uvurkhangai, Bayankhongor, Dornogovi, Umnugovi and Sukhbaatar provinces, which are celebrating the anniversary will be celebrating their local Naadam festival within July 29, 30.
This year the State ceremony concert will be held in the main square. “Ulaanbaatar night “party will be organized in “Khui doloon khudag” where horse racing competition held. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Central Stadium. In previous years, the festival used to finish by wrestling competition.
People used to go to the Central Square to taste Naadam khuushuur- fried pan cake with meat, but this year they will be able to sell Naadam khuushuur in every district and khoroo.
