Mongolia has received over 570’000 tourists last year, a 9 percent increase, according to the Ulaanbaatar city tourism department.
The significant increase of tourist arrivals during the period was attributed to the coming in of large amount of tourists from Asian countries, especially China. The other countries are Russia, South Korea, Japan, America, Kazakhstan, Germany and France.
