Mongolian falconer and eagle hunter master Batbileg “in red Deel” is with his fellow Kazak eagle hunter friends at the festival.

Jamogrand Travel is honored to collaborate with Batbileg, a distinguished figure in the preservation of Mongolian heritage. As an officially recognized "Inheritor and Bearer of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mongolian Falconry," Batbileg stands as a singular force in the central region, mastering the ancient art typically found only in the Altai Mountains.

Batbileg’s expertise extends far beyond the steppe. His physical mastery and authentic nomadic skills have led him to serve as a stunt performer in numerous Hollywood historical movies about Mongolia, bringing the intensity of Mongolian horsemanship and combat to the global screen.

At the 20th Anniversary International Eagle Festival 2026, held at the Chinggis Khaanii Khuree Tourist Complex, Batbileg represented the heart of central Mongolia among elite competitors. He not only showcased his prowess in Eagle Calling and Fox Skin bait dragging but also won the prestigious "coin grabbing from horseback" competition, demonstrating the elite agility of a true Mongol rider.

Beyond his own achievements, Batbileg is deeply committed to ensuring this legacy lives on. He produced and starred in the acclaimed documentary film "Falconry" (Shuvuulahui), which captures the profound soul of this ancient practice. This documentary movie is available for viewing at Terelj Hills Lodge. Today, he is passing this sacred knowledge to his daughter, Erkhsaran. Under his guidance, Erkhsaran is currently mastering the art of taming and training Saker Falcons, becoming a vital link in the chain of cultural inheritance.

This partnership with Jamogrand Group offers a premier "Falconer and Eagle hunting demonstration Product" that allows international travelers to witness master-level falconry and cinematic horsemanship just a short distance from Ulaanbaatar. Through Batbileg and Erkhsaran, guests experience a deep, authentic connection with the ethics of conservation and the living history of Mongolian nomadic hunting.

B. Erkhsaran, daughter of Master Batbileg, stands with her Saker Falcon. As an apprentice in the ancient art of falconry, she represents the next generation of cultural bearers in Mongolia's Tuv Province.
