As of January, according to the ‘Electronic birth registration’ by the Ministry of Health, 5748 mothers gave birth, and 5817 children got registration numbers. From total newborn, 2971 were male, 2846 were female, and there were 138 twins.
There were 8 (0.1%) home births were registered, decreased by 8 (50.0%) compared to the same period of the previous year.
In terms of age group, 3.7 percent of mothers gave birth, aged up to 20, 92.1 percent were aged 20-39 and 4.2 percent were aged 40 and over
