Bactrian camel gives birth to twin colts

On April the 9th, 2020 twin colts are born in Jargalant soum, Khovd aimag, Mongolia. Mongolians, the population of nomadic herders, were expecting the news of the first born colt of the year. Now they are very excited about the twin colts which often seen as the good fortune. The mother camel and the colts are in good health. Blue scarves are tied around their necks for good health.

As of 2020, Mongolians have 472,000 domestic Bactrian camels.
